Streaks

An album is scored on four components, each on a 0–100 scale, then blended by weight. On top of that sits the curated-set bonus, which is added as plain points rather than folded into a component — so "the complete issue, +5" means exactly five points.

composite = 0.40 × depth + 0.30 × rarity + 0.15 × value + 0.15 × engagement + setBonus → capped at 100

Depth

40%

How thoroughly you have collected, rather than how much you own. It combines three different readings of "deep", because any one of them alone is easy to game.

depth = 0.5 × completion + 0.3 × absolute + 0.2 × variant

Fill out issues you have already started — the curve pays most for the first tokens of a set.

BROKEN DOWN FURTHER

Completion

50%

How much of each collection you hold, averaged across the album and weighted by how trustworthy each collection's known size is.

100 × ln(1 + ratio × 99) / ln(100)

Absolute size

30%

Raw item count, so a genuinely large collection is recognised even when no single issue is finished. 500 items is full marks.

100 × ln(1 + items) / ln(501)

Variant coverage

20%

How many distinct trait values you own against the collection's full catalogue — the perforation, colour and paper variants collectors actually chase.

owned trait values / catalogue values

Why half a set is worth 85, not 50

The completion curve is deliberately front-loaded. The first tokens of an issue are the ones anyone can realistically buy; the last few may not be on the market at any price. Rewarding progress linearly would make the achievable part of collecting feel worthless.

Thin albums keep only half · < 10

An album holding fewer than ten items keeps a reduced share of the depth it earned, rising back to full at ten. Without it, a one-item album that happens to complete its issue would read as a perfect collection.

Rarity

30%

The 75th percentile of your items' rarity, not the average. A few outstanding pieces do not carry an album of filler, and one common token does not drag down a strong shelf.

rarity = p75(item rarity) × (1 + 0.05 × extra collections, max +25%)

Replace the weakest quarter of an album, and collect across several collections — each extra one adds 5% up to +25%.

Portfolio value

15%

Estimated floor value of everything in the album, on a logarithmic scale. Where floor prices cover less than a tenth of the album's collections, the score is halved — sparse pricing should not manufacture a high number.

value = min(100, 100 × ln(1 + ETH) / ln(1 + 5))

Reaching 5 ETH gives full marks; beyond that the curve is flat, so value alone cannot win a board.

Engagement

15%

Likes on the album, logarithmically scaled. Twenty likes is full marks, and an album with none scores zero — there is no floor.

engagement = min(100, 100 × ln(1 + likes) / ln(1 + 20))

Share the album. The first few likes are worth far more than the twentieth.

Curated-set bonus

The named sets collectors recognise as "a complete issue". Completing one adds flat points to the album's final score.

Basic

Extended

+3

Full

+5

Only the highest level you have completed pays. Owning every value completes Full, Extended and Basic at once — paying for all three would hand out ten points for one achievement.

A set of fewer than two values pays nothing. A one-value "set" is just ownership, and completion already counts that.

The total is capped at 15 points across all your sets, allocated highest level first — otherwise a collector with twenty finished issues would score on bonuses alone.

Who appears on this board

The album is public.

It holds at least one item.

Its score is above zero. An album emptied of items, or turned private, loses its position rather than keeping a stale one.

Ties

Equal scores share a position and the next distinct score skips ahead — 1, 2, 2, 4. Two identical albums are genuinely tied, and a hidden tiebreak that declared one the winner would be inventing a difference.

How often it updates

Scores are recomputed every hour, and immediately when you add or remove items. Positions and the day-over-day movement arrow are frozen once a day at 02:00 UTC, which is what makes the arrow mean "since yesterday" rather than "since the last hour".

When the numbers move

Nothing here is live. Knowing the schedule explains most of the "why has my rank not changed yet" questions.

Every hour — album scores

Album scores are recomputed hourly, and immediately when you add or remove an item. Your album's score can therefore change long before its position does.

02:30 UTC — everything else

Collector scores, leagues, clubs, medals and rank snapshots all run in one nightly pass, so they always describe the same moment rather than drifting apart.

The order matters

The pass runs in sequence: statistics, then completed collections, then rarity, then collector scores, then leagues, then clubs, then prestige, then the snapshots, and seasons last. Each stage reads what the previous one wrote — clubs are scored on league results that are already final.

Seasons

When a season closes, its final standings are frozen and become permanent trophies. The collector, album and club boards freeze their top 100; leagues freeze the podium, because there are dozens of leagues and a hundred places each would bury the achievement.

Rules that keep it honest

Most of the formula's complexity exists to close a specific loophole. These are the ones worth knowing.

Every component is capped at 100, and no multiplier cascades into another. A score cannot run away.

The curated-set bonus is additive and capped, so completing issues helps without becoming the only thing that matters.

Only the highest completed level of a set pays, so one achievement is credited once.

A token in several of your albums counts once toward your collector score.

Only public albums and public profiles are scored. Making something private removes it from the board rather than hiding a position it keeps.

Owned clubs count once. Creating clubs is free, so an uncapped reward for it would be a lever rather than an achievement.

Followers, likes, item counts and club activity are all logarithmic — the tenth is worth much less than the first, which makes bulk manufacture of any of them a poor investment.

Tied scores share a rank everywhere it is computed. The lists still print in some order, but that order is not a claim about standing.
