Blocks to the series CVIII · Polonia Restituta, devoted to five painters of the interwar period: Tadeusz Makowski, Zofia Stryjeńska, Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz, Tamara Łempicka and Jan Cybis. Each block is a single painting, a portrait of the artist composed as a self-portrait and painted in the manner of the artist's own work; the stamp is cut out of it by the perforation. The blocks are not sold and arise only from the fusion of unused stamps of one CVIII design. A cancelled stamp loses the margin of its block.
